Stress, anxiety, jealousy, irritability and similar emotions can take a toll on our health, especially that of our Digestive system. This could lead to disorders of the GI tract including gas and bloating, ulcers, acidity, heartburn and more.

Meditation along with an Ayurvedic* diet can be of great help not only as a spiritual practice and to still and calm the mind but also to heal the body. One must make it a point to at least sit regularly for meditation everyday beginning with at least 15 minutes and keep increasing the practice.

*Ayurveda is one of the oldest systems of traditional natural healing in the world. Also known as the sister of Yoga, it stresses deeply on nutrition and lifestyle for optimal health.

Ayurveda believes that there are three bio energies ie Vata ( Air and Ether Elements), Pitta ( Fire and Water ) and Kapha ( Earth and Water) within the body and their balance or imbalance determines the state of good or ill health .
