Benefits of Chanting " OM " | Yoga of Eating

Om is not just a sound. It is considered to the music of all creation, the source of all creation itself. Chanting Om both as a sound as well as silently is deeply beneficial. Some of the benefits are : a) Improves concentration b) Deeply relaxing for the body and mind c) Cleanses the aura of both the body as well as of the environment we live in d) Invokes Positive energy and dispels negativity e) Helps in deep restful sleep f) Could be very useful to dispel fear and anxiety g) Great aid for restful deep sleep h) Could be very useful to dissolve trauma and emotional imbalances One could make a start by chanting Om for at least 15 minutes everyday and increase the practice.
