Turmeric | Yoga of Eating

The bitter taste of Turmeric is overshadowed by the benefits it offers when taken in moderation, as it is detoxifying, promotes the removal of fat and purifies the blood .


If taken in excess it heats your body and may cause inflammation in your stomach that may lead to abdominal pain and cramps.


Examples of foods with the bitter taste but good for health are Dandelion, Collard Greens, Turmeric, Turmeric root, Ajwain etc.
