AYURVEDA BELIEVES THAT A COATED TONGUE IS A SIGN OF THE ACCUMULATION OF TOXINS IN THE BODY

Ayurveda* believes that the tongue reveals the state of health the body Ayurveda believes that toxins or Ama are formed through many ways including undigested food, not chewing properly, processed food , negative emotions etc . Coating on the tongue is seen as an accumulation of Ama toxins in the body . When the coating is at the back of the tongue, it reveals that there is an accumulation of ma of toxins in the large intestine, small intestine or the colon. When the accumulation is in the front of the tongue, it suggests a buildup of toxins or ama in the stomach and small intestine.
