Best Time To Exercise During Summer | Yoga of Eating

Any exercises heats the body. With the blazing Summer Sun, the environment, as well as our bodies, are already heated up.

As an antidote, we should keep the body cool. Sweating it out in the gym or running in the afternoon Sun will aggravate the Pitta or the Fire element in the body which may lead to Pitta related issues such as loose stools, rashes, inflammation etc.

We should do mild stretches, gentle walks in the cooler, light Yoga especially in the cooler times of the day.
