Updated: Dec 29, 2020

It's most preferred to do gentle exercises during the Fall season. The Fall season is dominated by Vata, the bio energy comprising of the elements of Air and Ether which is aggravated by fast, mobile activities. It's best to do slow, gentle, strengthening forms of exercise during this season. Walking, hiking, swimming(in indoor heated pools) , biking, yoga are exercises of choice provided they are done in moderate intensity and not done fast. Do balance your exercise initiatives with adequate relaxation and rest. Always cover your head and body with appropriate warm clothes when outdoors. The best times of day to exercise in the early morning and evening hours (6–10 a.m. and 6–10 p.m.).
