It's best to consume steel cut oats or Scottish Oatmeal as they are least processed. Avoid Instant oats. Buying Organic and gluten free will help as they will be healthier and more easy to digest . If you live in a warm country, the soaking time could be reduced.
Here's a recipe for an 𝐄𝐱𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐕𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐧 𝐎𝐚𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐠𝐞
1 cup Organic gluten free steel cut oats
3 cups Water
1/2 tsp Salt
1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon powder
1/8 teaspoon Cardamom powder
Pecans and Walnuts
You can add dates or raisins as a sweetener
1) Soak the gluten free steel cut oats for at least 12 hours .
2) Bring 3 cups water and 1/2 tsp salt to a boil then add 1 cup gluten free steel cut oats
Reduce heat to a low simmer and keep cooking for 15 to 20 minutes. Add the rest of the ingredients.
Remove from heat and let stand covered for a couple of minutes.

Note : Soaking for about 12 hours makes oats easier to cook and much easier to digest. This is a great breakfast for all especially vegans, vegetarians and people on a whole plant based diet.
