At this time of the year, it is natural for us to feel sluggish and want us to stay in bed for longer. many of us may even have a need for sleeping more. People tend to have stuffy noses and many may even suffer from ailments related to colds, flu etc. An excellent tea can be made using spices such as turmeric, black pepper, and cardamom.

Not only is this tea warming but these spices also have the ability to help with clearing mucus, a sore throat, a runny nose and warming up our bodies.

Ingredients :

Turmeric powder - 1/8 of a teaspoon

Black pepper - 1/8 teaspoon

Cardamom: 1/8 teaspoon

Boil the mixture in about 1.25 cups of water till it becomes one cup.

Drink when suitably warm in sips.

Note : Black pepper and cardamom when freshly crushed are more potent and therapeutic
