Here is a method of making DIY tooth powder at home :

  1. 2 tablespoons Triphala powder

  2. 1/4 teaspoon Neem Powder

  3. 1/4 teaspoon Clove powder

  4. 1/4 teaspoon Tulsi powder

  5. 1/8 teaspoon Black pepper powder

  6. 1/2 teaspoon Coarse Sea salt or pink salt

  7. 1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon powder

Mix all the above ingredients in a spice blender. Mix really well till it becomes a fine powder. Store in an airtight dark glass bottle. Take a small amount of this mixture in the palm of your hand. Moisten your toothbrush, dip in the mixture and brush. Triphala is astringent in nature and it may take you a little while to get used to this powder. The good news is that this tooth powder is chemical free. All suggested ingredients should be available in your organic store or via online.
