Ayurveda* believes that the root cause of most diseases is due to imbalances in the digestive system.

Poor and problematic eating habits could lead to the formation of Ama or Toxins in the body which may lead to ailments.


  • Eating snacks between meals

  • Eating heavy foods and large meals late in the evening

  • Sleeping after eating

  • Overeating

  • Eating too soon after a meal

  • Eating if one has digestive issues ie diarrhea, gas and bloating, constipation etc.

  • Eating foods with excess of fats and proteins

  • Eating excess of any of the 6 tastes ie sweet, sour, bitter, astringent, pungent or salty foods.

Lets avoid poor and problematic eating habits from our life to enhance our well being.


*Ayurveda is one of the oldest systems of traditional natural healing in the world. Also known as the sister of Yoga, it stresses deeply on nutrition and lifestyle for optimal health.

Ayurveda believes that there are three bio energies ie Vata ( Air and Ether Elements), Pitta ( Fire and Water ) and Kapha ( Earth and Water) within the body and their balance or imbalance determines the state of good or ill health .
