Barnyard Millets and Veggies Dish :



Ingredients :


1/2 cups Barnyard Millets or any other Millets ( Soaked overnight)

1/8 th cup Seasonal Veggies

1/ 8 th cup Cilantro ( Coriander)

Ginger ( Small chopped piece)

2 cloves Garlic ( chopped)

1 small piece Cinnamon

1/8 th cup Cashews and Raisins

1green Cardamom( optional)

1.5 cups water

1 piece Clove

1/2 Bay Leaf Pink Salt to taste


Method : Dry roast the onions, ginger and garlic. Add the spices. Add the water and the rest of the ingredients and keep cooking. Serve warm.


Serves 2


NOTE : In the peak of Summer, avoid adding the garlic, cinnamon and the bay leaf.
